Our Story
Our family-owned and operated business began producing hand-crafted soups for Whole Foods Market 20 years ago at our New England-based facility (New England Chowder Co.). In 2020, we constructed a new manufacturing facility in Big Timber, Montana to better serve our customer base west of the Mississippi. We supply regional and national foodservice distributors, major retail chains, and independent restaurants in both North America and South America.
We produce a wide variety of meat, poultry, seafood and vegetable-based soups and chili. Our meat and vegetable-based soup and chili ingredients are locally sourced from Montana, Idaho, South Dakota and North Dakota. Our seafood proteins are sourced directly from Alaska and New England.
To minimize our carbon footprint and reduce energy consumption, our Montana manufacturing facility is designed with the latest building technology and energy-efficient equipment. Our facility is also designed around our stringent Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) program to optimize food safety and employee safety.
